Take time out to reduce your anger and use this breathing exercise to beat anger

by Huan
(Columbia)

I find that when can feel that my anger is rising, that I try to take a time out.

When I notice I am getting in one of those moods I tell the person I need a break from the conversation because you are afraid that you will do or say something that you will regret.

I have also found that breathing exercises help to beat anger. I breathe in to 3 hold 3 seconds and breathe for 3. This slows down my breathing rate and I imagine my heart rate as well :)
