Crying to release teenage stress

Crying and teen stress.
Crying helps to get the stress off you chest.
Hi Nyasha,
Your comment reminds of something that is so important for stress relief.
Crying is a natural body function.
But from a young age we are often told "not to cry."
However, crying helps you to relieve stress, reduce anxiety, and release body tension.
Crying can be a great way to reduce emotional build-up and frustration.
So crying can be a way for teen stress relief.
I remember a study that was done at the University of Minnesota that supported the idea that the tears from crying releases some of the build-up of chemicals that can occur with stress.
So crying can really be an important part of your teen stress relief.
Thanks again for your comment.
