There has been plenty of research to show that stress can definitely impact on your health.
There are a number of ways that this can occur. For example, stress can weaken your immune system. A weaker immune system means that it harder for your body to keep out invading bacteria.
However, you are not only more susceptible at catching colds and flu, but you are also more likely to have a greater rate of tumor growth and wounds will have a harder time healing.
However, another way that stress can impact on health is the way that our behavior can change as a result of stress. We may drink more, eat more fatty foods etc. which all lead to poorer health.
